MOVE OUT CHECKLISTS

Before Vacating: Please inform us of any maintenance concerns.

Vacating Procedures:

• All personal possessions must be removed from the property and the property must be completely cleaned and vacant by 11:59pm on the move-out date.
• Supply your new address and phone numbers for a smooth return of your security deposit.
• Stop your auto payment, if applicable.
• Call all Utility companies to remove your name and do not turn off any utilities to avoid reactivation fees.

Preparing the Property:

• Clean the interior and exterior of the property including, but not limited to, wiping out appliances, sinks, toilets, light fixtures, removing cobwebs, etc.
• Carpets must be professionally steam cleaned, or a fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
• Wipe down blinds, do not wash draperies. If excessive soil or water damage is present, the draperies may need to be dry cleaned.
• Replace any needed light bulbs, filters, and batteries.
• Landscaping should be neatly mowed, trimmed, fertilized, watered, and free of trash, debris, and animal droppings.
• Arrange for the proper disposal of any excess trash.
• Remove all oil stains from the driveway.
• Do not touch up paint unless you can guarantee the paint will match.
